Yuriy Vovk made furore at the World Blitz Championship 2015. Being ranked 113th Yuriy took 9th place. He had chance to face many elite players for the first time in his life. Yuriy beated Aronian, Movsesian, Vachier-Lagrave, Wojtaszek, Malakhov, and drew with Carlsen, Leko, Gelfand and Svidler. Dear chess friends! Let me cordially invite you to IM round robin in Zhovkva, Lviv region (24-30th April)

How fast this week has passed away! And now we are made to wait for a 3rd Royal Residence Cup in 2012.

Good tournament is traditional one! What a pleasure it is to play for example in Cappelle la Grande or Pardubice! But Lviv isn't an exception too! Facing the troubles and problems we bring our tradition through the time and are happy to announce the 7th Lviv Chess Festival "Vasylyshyn Memorial" that will take place in Lviv in period of 23 November - 1 December.

“Royal residence cup” takes place in period of 8-16 June. “A” and “B” tournaments take place. A tournament is IM round robin for 10 players with 4 countries represented (Sweden, France, Slovakia and Ukraine). “B” tournament is round robin for 10 players organized for local players.
