I can never forget how Romanishin being small child had conducted a plan which is described in books. That's when I realized that he's original. He was often criticized, people said he's playing against rules. I heard once at some state championship as Kasparov said: what a nonsense Romanishin is playing. But I realized that Romanishin had his own vision. After a while Kasparov played the same way once on the world championship match with Karpov.Marta Litynska, Oleg Romanishin and Aleksandr Beliavsky came to Pioner Palace (youth sport and education centers in USSR) at the early 60-ies and their irrepressible desire to play and study chess was noticed immediately. Nowadays we have 12 year old grandmasters, but that time when Romanishin and Beliavsky gained 1st category in 10, and in 12 they became candidate of masters, it was believed a great success.I tried to learn all material that had been written on teaching chess. But it turned out that not everything can bring desirable result. This is as individually as in music. Each child needs individual approach when they are studying to "put fingers" on instrument. Most commonly beginner group consists of 15 students. After with growth of level it reduces to 4. On my opinion, initially the youngest children need most of attention. Coach must check every move and not miss any moment. Children are all different!
